0 Redsn0w 0.9.6 Beta 1 jailbreaks iOS 4.1 iPod Touch 2G & iPhone 3G

After the official announcement of GreenPois0n’s release date, iPhone Dev team has released Redsn0w 0.9.6 for Windows and Mac OS X x86 platform. This jailbreak tool helps jailbreak iPod Touch 2G, iPhone 3G running on iOS 4.1 or iOS 4.0 firmware.
Since Redsn0w 0.9.6 is just a beta release, Dev team has not included support for other iDevices. Also, if you are using Ultrasn0w to unlock your iPhone 3G, the latest Redsn0w tool will automatically update your baseband and you will probably not get a chance to unlock your phone again.
