How to Jailbreak iOS 4.1 iPhone 3G/ iPod Touch 2G on Windows

• Download the Following stuffs to jailbreak iOS 4.1 on windows

- Download iOS4.1
- Download iTunes 10 / iTunes 10.0.1
- Download Redsn0w 0.9.6B1

• Now update iOS 4.1 on iPhone 3G & iPod Touch 2G <– from here
• Once you have updated iPhone 3G to iOS 4.1 start Redsn0w 0.9.6B1

• Now click on Browse button and select the firmware what you have downloaded in step 1

• Click next button and Redsn0w 0.9.6b1 will prepare data for jailbreak

• Now select “Install Cydia” and click Next
• And power off your iPhone 3G and connect to computer and click next button

• Now put your iPhone to DFU mode to do this – hold “Power” button and “Home” button simultaneously for about 10 seconds
• Now release “Power” button but keep holding “Home” button until the installation begins (about 30 seconds)
• Now just wait until Redsn0w completes the rest of the process and once it has done, your iPhone 3G will restart automatically and you will find it jailbroken with iOS 4.1
