Good news for Mac owners, Apple has announced the release of beta version of FaceTime video chat app for
Mac OS X. Using this app you can make video calls to
iPhone 4 and
iPod touch users. This app comes with an easy to use interface. It automatically uses the user’s address book contacts. You need an Apple ID and an email address to set up FaceTime on your Mac. This app works seamlessly with the built-in camera and mic on Mac.

The beta version of FaceTime for Mac OS X is available for download. It requires
Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.4 or newer.
