0 Apple blocks JailbreakMe Site at Apple Stores

Comex’s JailbreakMe tool has brought smile on lots of iDevice users, but Apple is certainly not happy with the latest release. Since the new jailbreak method uses vulnerabilities in PDF feature, the company has quickly developed a patch to fix the hole in their firmware.
Apparently, many jailbreakers tried to jailbreak their devices from Apple Stores and they did it successfully using JailbreakMe tool. Some of them have also uploaded jailbreaking videos on various popular video sharing sites.


After looking at such notorious activity from iDevice users, Apple has decided to block Jailbreakme.com URL from Apple Store servers. The company has stopped access to JailbreakMe site so that users won’t be able to navigate the jailbreak site from the official Apple Stores.
For those have no idea about the latest jailbreak technique, the JailbreakMe tool uses PDF exploit to gain the root access of the device. To jailbreak iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad with new jailbreak mechanism, users require access to above given URL.
At this moment, Apple has taken the primitive measures to stop jailbreaking from their stores, but the question still remains unanswered – Will Apple ever find permanent fix to solve jailbreaking issue?
