0 iPhone 5 to feature Dual Network Chip

Finally, we will have a new iPhone with both CDMA and GSM network support. Verizon’s CFO Fran Shammo has confirmed that Apple’s iPhone 5, a global device, will allow users to access it on any carrier in the world.
The fluctuation, I believe, will come when a new device from Apple is launched, whenever that may be, and that we will be, on the first time, on equal footing with our competitors on a new phone hitting the market, which will also be a global device.
New Chip
When Verizon iPhone launched earlier this year, it was revealed that the phone has capabilities to work on different network technologies. Apple has incorporated a new chip in Verizon iPhone, which was not present in the original GSM iPhone 4 devices.
Currently, Apple is selling two different versions of iPhone models (iPhone 4 GSM and iPhone 4 CDMA) in the US market and now we can hope for the next generation iPhone 5 device which will probably end the confusion over the type of network you want to use on your phone.
