0 Apple to host iOS 5 Event in April – Report

A German website, Macerkopf.de, has reported some interesting piece of news about the long awaited MobileMe update and iOS 5 for iDevices. According to their report, Apple is going to host another press event in next month to unveil the features of the upcoming iOS 5 mobile OS and in the same event they will announce the new revamped MobileMe service.

In last week’s event, Apple team announced the release date of iOS 4.3, but they didn’t give any demonstration of iOS 5, which was expected before the iPad 2 launch. We have been following quite a few rumors about Apple’s cloud strategy and plans to bring it to the iTunes software. With iOS 5 update, they might come up with something similar to these rumored features.
iOS 5 is going to be a major update for all the iDevices and will also support future devices like iPhone 5 and iPod Touch 5G. If the rumors are true, we will get to see what Apple wants to offer in the fifth version of their OS (and another Steve Jobs keynote?).
