As announced previously in Apple music event, Apple has started to roll out iOS 4.2 Beta 2 software to the developers. Those who have officially enrolled in Apple’s developer program will only get an opportunity to try out the iOS 4.2 Beta 2.
Apple team has included some new features in iOS 4.2 Beta to improve the overall performance of the devices. iOS 4.1 jailbreak and unlock tool is also expected to come out soon, which means Apple will have to again develop bug fixes for the next update.
iOS 4.2 Beta 2 is available for developers and not for end users. If you are relying on jailbreak or unlock, do not install this firmware on your iDevice. According to the announcement in the event, the final version of iOS 4.2 will be released in the month of November.
Apple has released iTunes 10.1 Beta for both Windows and Mac OS. It is also available for iOS developers. Please check the following link to download the updated software.
