0 Microsoft To Launch Arc Touch Mouse For Windows 7
Microsoft is planning to launch a new mouse that will have touch capabilities, much like the Magic Mouse from Apple. The name for the device will be the Arc Touch Mouse. The new device is expected to be released in September of this year. The mouse is the result of a Microsoft Research program dubbed “Mouse 2.0″. The project detailed different designs for a prototype multi-touch mouse and one of the prototypes looks similar to the current Microsoft Arc Mouse. Microsoft plans to introduce the multi-touch mouse as a cheap alternative to costly touch displays for use with Windows 7.

The Arc Touch Mouse will have a retail price of just under $70. However, the new Microsoft device will only be in it’s basic form from the start, with multi-touch functionality coming at a later update.
